Ahead of this year IPL auction RCB has released six players from their team and four out of them are overseas players. They have also traded one overseas player in Marcus Stoinis a midium fast bowler in the place of  Mandeep singh who was brought by Kings XI Punjab.

Also Brendom McCullum who was not in from and his performance was not good as expected and he was also dropped from his PSL side.

Virat kholi will continue to lead RCB in this year IPL.while forming the best batting partnership with Ab de villers in the IPL.While the bowling  attack to be lead by leg spinner Yuzvender Chahal along with the pace bowler like Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj and overseas bowler Tim Southee.
